Holiday Closing: The following are MentorMe Family Daycare™ Observed Holidays. The daycare is CLOSED. We will reopen at the next normal scheduled business day. If you are required to work during these closings, please schedule alternative daycare.

If the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday that Friday or Monday will be closed. For example: If Christmas Eve is on a Friday the daycare will be closed. The daycare will reopen on Monday. If Christmas Day falls on a Sunday the daycare will be closed that following Monday. We will reopen on the following Tuesday.
Vacations: When a parent/guardian is scheduled for vacation, I ask that I be notified 2 weeks prior in order to prepare for the adjustment of your child not being under my care. MentorMe Family Daycare™ will only charge half the weekly cost to maintain your spot in daycare. Your fee is due prior to your vacation. As the Director of the daycare, I am allowed to take up to 2 weeks vacation a year. I may, at times, decide not to close the daycare. However, if I do take a vacation I will give you a 4 week notice and assist you in finding alternate care, if that is your choice. When or if I do take a vacation I will not charge you for the vacation time that I take off if the daycare closes. However, if I opt to provide a substitute, the normal rate will be charged due to the daycare being opened. Lastly, I am also allowed 5-additional days for personal growth and enhancement. Again, I will notify you in insufficient time should I decide to close the daycare during this time.
